Location: The dam is located near of the town of Batak
Water area: 22 km2
Altitude: 1107 m
Depth: average – 5 m, deepest spot – 20 m
Fish species: perch (perca fluviatilis), roach (rutilus rutilus), carp (cyprinus carpio), pike (esox lucius), sander (sander lucioperca)
Catch limits and minimum length: Carp (cyprinus carpio) – 30 cm, pike (esox lucius) – 35 cm, sander (sander lucioperca) – 45 cm

 

Reserve fishing area

Lake: Shiroka polyana
Location: The dam is located 30 km south of the town of Batak
Water area: 19 km2
Altitude: 1504 m
Depth: average – 5.2 m, deepest spot – 9.3 m
Fish species: perch (perca fluviatilis), roach (rutilus rutilus), chub (leuciscus cephalus), crucian (carassius carassius)
Catch limits and minimum length
Chub (leuciscus cephalus) – 22 cm. There is a ban on fishing brown trout (salmo trutta), who must be released back immediately.
